ALL ABOUT DEVELOPMENT.

The Junior Premier League is all about individual development in a competitive league environment, providing unrivalled pathways for young players into pro football club academies. Games played in 4 quarter periods for maximum player development and coach feedback effectiveness. We aim to win every game. We aim to help a player learn and develop too. The two live side by side in every session and there is never a need to choose between the two if the coach creates the fun, safe learning environment.

In addition to high quality competition, this is what makes our programme the most effective learning programme for young players in our region.

Trial Application
The JPL Warriors is a national league for U12s through to 18s. Currently in the North we have divisions for U14 – U16s. Warriors is the fastest growing girls only football league in England and is in place to give talented young female footballers a level of competition between Pro Game Academy and local grassroots. In Warriors we compete nationally with clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham & Crystal Palace. In regular competion we compete against and at the same level as Doncaster Rovers Belles, Leeds United, York City, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Leicester City along with other very high-quality girls teams that meet the criteria to be accepted.

Our matches are played on a Saturday at high-standard venues to ensure the best football can be played and enjoyed by all.

The JPL is a player championing league with the highest coaching standards in England. The league has over 70% of coaches that are paid professionals who emphasise development over results and are the only English youth league to have a long-standing requirement of 50% minimum playing time for all players. JPL has a national reputation for player advancement in youth football and matches are played over 4 periods to maximise the coaching time granted by professional academies allowing for enhanced strategic player development.
Ambition – Elite AFC aims to create a learning and development experience for female players aged between 6 – 24. Our womens team provides an opportunity for young players to progress from childrens football in a youth development environment to an adult football professional development environment. Alongside a development model for players 6-16 we provide a specialist, focussed Post 16 pathway for players Education and football career.

Elite aim to be the primary destination for later developers and players aged 16 – 21 that have been released from professional clubs and that have potential to move into professional football at later stage of their development.
We aim to compete consistently at Tier 4 whilst acting as a feeder club to professional clubs in the area providing later developer routes into professional football for all players with potential.

Playing Philosophy – At Elite we believe the best way to secure victory is to establish a high energy, enthusiastic, offensive style of play through which our teams establish a majority of possession 51%+ and
place teams under sustained pressure with the ball whilst sustaining pressure through a counter press regain strategy and desire to have the ball and occupy/dominate space on the pitch. Our teams will at minimum match the energy and enthusiasm of our opponents at all times.
